Apply in-store with CrediQ
Visit any branch and work with our team to start your application. All required documents must be uploaded before submission.

Wait for approval via email
Once submitted, CrediQ will verify your documents. You’ll receive your approval status by email—usually within 24–48 hours.
Step 4
Pick up your eyewear
After approval, you can collect your glasses and start your monthly payments. No upfront payment is required.

Utility bill
Dated within 6 months.

Recent payslip & job letter
Issued within the last 3 months.
Job letter optional for initial application but must be submitted before approval.
Authorization & ID (if utility bill isn’t in applicant’s name)
Include: Signed letter of permission, Utility bill and ID of the person named on the bill.
Self-Employed Applicants
Provide 3 months of bank statements.
References
Two references not living with the applicant — one may be a relative.

How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within 24–48 hours after all documents are submitted. You’ll receive an email notification once a decision is made. Make sure to check your inbox and spam folder.
Can I apply if I don't have a utility bill in my name?
Yes! You can provide a signed authorization letter, the utility bill, and a copy of the ID of the person whose name is on the bill.
What happens after 30 days?
After the 30-day grace period, your monthly payments will begin. There are no penalties for early payments, but title and ownership of the eyewear pass to you only after 3 months of the contract.
Can I use CredIQ if I've never been to Value Optical?
Absolutely! CredIQ financing is available to both new and returning Value Optical customers. You can book your eye exam and apply for financing in the same visit.
What products can I finance with CredIQ?
Eyeglasses and sunglasses (both prescription and non-prescription). Contact lenses are not eligible.
Do I need a good credit score to qualify?
No. CrediQ considers more than just your credit score. As long as you meet the document and income requirements, you can apply.
Can pensioners apply?
Yes! Pensioners can apply with the help of an employed guarantor who submits their own supporting documents.
How do I make payments?
You can pay at any Value Optical branch (cash only) or log in to the CrediQ customer portal to pay online.
What if I miss a payment?
Late fees may apply, and your credit rating could be affected. If you’re having trouble, contact CrediQ support right away to discuss options.
